Meet The Founder
Sabrina Laurenzia Situmorang (Sabie) is a daughter of Situmorang who was born and raised in the Philippines and is now studying Digital-Media Design in Singapore. Sabrina had been inspired to share more about their Batak culture after visiting Samosir Island at the age of 17, while learning new things about Batak culture that they never knew about, they've been determined to visit Samosir Island again in the near future. Once Sabrina turned 19, they were able to visit Samosir Island again and discovered more things about Batak culture and stories about their own family.

"Explore Batak" is a website that provides factual information about the Batak culture, with information gathered straight from the Batak regions of Indonesia. As this website builds up, Explore Batak is actively accepting information about the Batak culture from it's own people.
